Owner

I have worked in the Motor Trade for 40 years due to the fact that my father and grandfather both worked and owned successful company’s.
After leaving the family business in 2004, I established Kirby’s Auto Centre on Whiffler Road. Soon, the business grew to the point where we had to expand! In October 2008, we decided to purchase 175b Aylsham Road, developing the workshops, car sales and MOT bay to what you see today.
I pride myself on that we are a family run business with old fashioned values, but we continue to embrace the latest technologies and ideas. My dedicated and highly skilled team are very conscientious and always there to help, and I am very proud of them all. I am a very hands on manager and take a very active role in the workshop, car sales and MOT bay.

I have been in the motor trade since 1968, enjoying a long and varied career encompassing everything from service manager to recovery driver. I am currently a MOT tester and have been a qualified tester since 1974.

I started as an apprentice in 2009. Since then, I have completed my qualifications and gone on to become an MOT tester. Each day is different and interesting here at Kirby’s. Various makes and models of cars come in, all with different tasks and challenges. Couple that with the amazing team makes working at Kirby’s a very enjoyable experience!

I have been an automotive mechanic for 18 years. Beginning my career as a V8 specialist and 4×4 mechanic, I have progressed to working on all makes and models of cars and vans. I am a fully qualified mechanic and MOT tester. Working at Kirby’s Auto Centre is always interesting: we work on everything from the everyday family car, to rare classics and sports cars.
